Results

So I got my X-ray results back today.  It is a pleurisy and there is nothing much to worry about.  If I still feel unwell on Monday I have to go back, but I can breath slightly deeper today than I could yesterday so it's all good.

However sneezing and coughing really, really, really hurts at the moment. If I sneeze or cough I do tend to swear because it's really painful.  It'll make work this evening interesting.

I just have to wait now until the pain stops.  I'm hoping it's soon.  I need a full nights sleep.  I turn a lot while I sleep.  I can't sleep comfortably on my back, only on my sides.  If I sleep on the right, which is my sore lung, it really hurts.  If I sleep on the left, it's less painful but it still hurts.  So I keep waking myself up.

Just edited so that I can describe the pain I'm in.  You all know what it's like to try and breath when you have a stitch.  You all know how painful that is.  Now take that pain, times it by 10 and locate it at the back of your lungs around the area your angel wings are.  That's what I go through if I wake a deep breath in!
