Another nail in his coffin!

We have a star of a volunteer W. He's brilliant, I love him, he's great. Well CW came in yesterday to deliver some money. He got talking to W. He started to complain about me and the company to W. Now up until this point I have never told W about my issues with CW or what's going on in the background. Tonight I had to tell him some of what is going on, because CW asked W to put in a good word for him, and to back him up. CW put W in the middle of it.
I have struggled with knowing what I should say to W and what I shouldn't say to W because he's only a volunteer but at the same time he is a co-worker... it's just hard, anyway up until today I never said anything. Tonight I had to say something to W to explain a bit about what was going on. On Monday I have to tell M what is going on. I really hate CW for putting me in this position and for putting W in that position.
Well I can't freat over it. After all it's CW who's causing all this ruckus. He's on holiday for another week, so I don't have to put up with him.
