I woke up yesterday with the world worst sore throat. I could barely swollow, I ached. It was unpleastent to say the least. So today with it feeling only slightly better (thanks to throat pastles, God love them), I went to the doctors.
I thought I had tonsilist, Good news is I don't. Bad news is I have flu. The only plus to all of this is the fact for the first time in months, without wearing layer upon layer, I'm warm. I have body heat. This shows that I'm running a slight temperature.
This has come at the worse time, I'm supposedly going up to my sisters for lunch on Sunday. If I feel like this, I think Mam will be going alone.

Mum came back from Blackpool Thursday night with a stinker of a cold and
I'm going down with it too. If you can do any form of exercise this will
help, a fast metabolism speeds the process up immensely so tonight before I
fall too bad under all of this, I will get on the exercise bike for 45
minutes or so.
