I went out to an Alpha course last night. Not sure I will be going again, but that's another matter, and not what I want to talk about right now. I went out last night and started coughing, which wasn't nice! I took my inhalers, but that wasn't why I was coughing, it's the stupid freaking infection that doesn't want to shift!
I got back to the flat around 9.30pm, at around 9.45pm I noticed how much my right lung hurt when I tried to breath in. Not a little breath but a really big breath, you know the ones. The breaths you take after you've been coughing, or the one's you take when you yawn. They are the breaths I couldn't take. I didn't sleep well last night as I couldn't find a poision I could sleep in that didn't cause my lung to really hurt. So after next to no sleep I phoned the doctors this morning and got an appointment at 12.20pm. I got to the doctors and she had a listen and a feel but couldn't see anything, but with everything that's been going on with my lungs said I had to go up to the hospital to get a chest X-ray! Oh great. So she phoned the hospital and I waited around. While waiting around I phoned work to explain that I wouldn't be in for the rest of the day. At 1.55pm the doctor called me back into her office and said she had got me an appointment up at the local hospital and I needed to get up there. She asked how I would get there, I said walk (It would take about 20-30 minutes). She said she was going up there anyway so she gave me a lift not wanting me to walk in the rain and the cold. So off we went. Got to the hospital around 2.25pm. Got seen in X-ray at 2.50pm. Got back home by 3.10pm (I got a taxi).
I now have to wait until tomorrow morning to see what my results are. The doctor thinks that my lung lining is inflamed which is why when I breath in it hurts. It's getting squashed against my rib cage, so I have to keep talking painkillers. Can I have a break now? I keep trying to find positive things that happen but I just can't seam to do it.
You're welcome to have my lungs once I've finished with them. Trouble is
I'm not planning for that to be any time soon!
