I left on Friday Morning. We avoided the Motorway to Cardiff, instead we took the back roads and took our time. We left my place at a little after 10.30am and got to our destination around 4pm. We got to see a lot of the country and I did a lot of driving. It was lovely. While I was there I sat back and relaxed. I didn't have to think, and I was slowly being killed with Kindness. As much I love the people we were staying with on Monday I was ready to come home. The youngest person I had talk to all weekend was my Mother!
I got to see the Welsh Assembly room. This is one of the most beautiful building I have ever seen and I hate buildings and don't often think of them as beautiful. A bone of contention for many of the Welsh because of the cost. It's wood and slate!

Coming back home we went along the back road, although different roads from going there. We did try and find the forest of Dean, a huge area of trees and would you believe it we managed to miss it and not see it at all! We did find other places to go and see and it was a really nice journey home. Once I got home I was exhausted though. I slept well on the Monday after going to the pub with S and some of his work mates.
On Monday evening I actually got to catch up with S after not seeing him for three weeks. My heart fluttered when I saw him (damn it!). He invited me to one of the local pubs (not our normal pub) and he was there with some of his work colleges. It was a really nice evening and I enjoyed meeting some new people. One of the guys was Spanish and I was teasing S about something he said a little while ago about having the hots for someone. He said he had a 'twinkle in his eye' and it took a while but I think I got to the bottom of it. However the Spanish guy hadn't heard of this phrase before but I explained it. S didn't think I could do it. A little while later when another guy had joined us the Spanish guy tried to explained what we had talked about and he said he had a 'winkle in his eye'. Well S and I floored ourselves laughing so hard! It was brilliant so I had to explain what winkle was..... the guy blushed and laughed. Later the Spanish guy look at a young lass and asked S what he thought of her. S said 'that she looked gormless' so we had to explain gormless. I said quietly that it meant she looked a little thick. He misheard me and said 'dick', well I floored myself again and went to the bathroom leaving S to deal with it all!
It was a great night. I just enjoyed talking to people nearer my age.
Yesterday wasn't such a good day. For no reason what so ever I felt like shite and was in a bad mood for hours. I went to bed early because I just hated everything! I'm not due for two more weeks. This morning I'm feeling better although not great.
Spike, I am happy for you that you had such a lovely time with S and his
friends. As for yesterday, well, I think there must have been something in
the air in Europe ;) LOL because here in my country I also felt tired and
just fed up with everything (and I even do not know why, just without any
reason like in your case) and I also went to bed early LOL. I think we
have to get used to such swings in our life ( I mean swings of mood). Nice
to hear that today is also better for you :) Have a nice rest of the week
:D
