This is was the view from my bedroom in the hotel. It looked great when the sun finally came out on the Friday. The sky and sea (which is this photo looks rather gray) were a brilliant and clean blue. Something you don't often see in England because everything is normally so dirty
!
This was a colourful structure that lived outside of the local government shop. Someone actually asked me if it flew!

I took this photo for S, he's a huge golfing fanatic.
This is from the star wars set visit. Which was a complete waste of time it was unreal. It was a very small place and a long drive there. Don't get me started on the way they drive out there. They don't drive on the left nor the right, they drive in the middle of the road. When a car comes towards them they play chicken. When you over take you don't wait until the opposite side of the road is clear, you just go for it! My heart entered my mouth on a number of occations, so scary!
I also visited a zoo, and saw some Zulu's dance. I did a two day excursion around Tunisia seeing colosseum at El Jem, and other things. Saw the sun set in the sharah desert, and then the sun rise the next morning, I went camel riding and completely threw my back again. I wasn't too impressed that my camel decided to attack the camel in front of me and then tried to give him a blow job!
I got what I wanted out of the holiday, I relaxed and even managed to get some natural sleep rather than the chemical induced sleep of sleeping pills or nytol. Which is continuing now a week after the holiday, although I did get some sleeping pills from the doctor in case it all came back. I didn't get much of a tan since the sun decided to hide until the last full day of the holiday, wasn't overly impressed by that but at least did see the sun.
I stayed in a four star hotel where no under 16s were allowed on site, it was brilliant. I did aqua arobics most days... I basically relaxed had fun, met some great people and just enjoyed myself and didn't think about work. It was just what I needed. I did however miss S dreadfully and I wish I had gone out there for two weeks instead of one, but never mind. I had to be back on Monday for a first aid course.
Tunisia is a nice place but you do get hassled a lot when you go shopping and unless you go to a government shop you have to haggle for everything. The stuff you buy as torists is basically tat, so I didn't buy much. I did get five marriage proposals, apparently the average was 3. I also had to create a boyfriend who was back home so that I would be left alone by some of the staff because they want a rich white lady to resuce them from their lives! Oh well. It was good and I would think about going back again if I wanted a relaxing time. I even managed to find food out there.
