I watched a film last night, as I was way to wired to sleep after sitting in the pub all afternoon & evening. Being the last week of term I wanted to be able to spend time with people, and although I have reservations about drinking and being in pubs, my friends don't. Actually I had a really enjoyable time, and am glad I suggested it1
As for the film I watch, it was DreamCatcherI quite enjoyed it, and I would recommned it to anyone who wants a good film to watch. But yet again in true Stephen King Book-film fasion, they missed some important bits out like what the hell was the point of Morgan Freemans charactor. That was so freakin' pointless in the film. It's like Stephan Kings IT, you don't understand the significant of the Spider at the end unless you've read the book.
I enjoy watching Morgan Freeman, he is a sublime actor, and does himself proud in all his acting jobs, eg "red" in ShawShank Redeption, but in DreamCatcher he tried, and what he did was brilliant, but his charactor didn't have a reason or any depth except to be there. It was almost painful to watch. I couldn't understand why he did the role.
I really enjoyed the charactor Duddits, he was brilliant. He was played by Mark Walberg from NKOTB fame, and he did himself proud.
Also the ending they chose was so much better than the original ending. I'm not going to ruin it for you your just going to have to watch it!
wait...did you change your colors. i'm confused! :)
