Clock's change

I hate it when the clocks move forward it makes getting up on a Monday morning really hard.  This is year is no different.  I actually set my alarm because I know I don't want to get up at the moment, and I did keep pressing the snooze button.  I evetually did get up because I knew I had to feed Toska before going to work and I had a meeting first thing (couldn't remember the time), so I wanted to get into work at nine.

My phone went and on it was a text from my manager, she isn't well and asked if I could do the meeting by myself.  Now this is something I didn't want to do because I don't know quite what we want from the move, so I phoned her straight off.  She picked up, I talked and realised I didn't have a voice this morning!  I have had a sore throat for a few days, but last night I developed a bad cough that causes me to lose my breath and even stop breathing occationally, so I didn't sleep last night.  M told me not to go to work today so I've stayed at home.  Slept some of the day, but this afternoon I hoovered the stairs (I'm so domesticated) and I cleaned the windows in the kitchen, except the top three because I can't reach.  I'm too small.  I even finished cleaning the skirting board.  I cleaned most of it just after (maybe before) Christmas, but we had a unit that I couldn't move, the boys got rid of that leaving a rather black skirting board left.  I finally finished cleaning it today!  So much for me being ill!  I have had some fantastic cough mediciene so I'm not coughing as much which is making me feel better, but my voice is still rough!  

I went out to get some food, I ate today for the first time in 12 days and didn't feel sick! I have eaten a little over the past 12 days but nothing great.  Usually a pear or a yoghart for the day!  Food is the biggest turn off at the moment.  But I did go into HMV and get Pick of Destiny and Holiday.  Both great films.

I have done some work today updating documents I brought home three weeks ago and have yet to finish updating.  But most of today I've been relaxing and hoping that the cough doesn't turn into a full fledged chest infection!  That's the last thing I need!

Oh what a day!
