A friend and I were talking out our music collection the other day. I was going through what I own and she was blown away by the fact I have so many cassettes. I have over 300 of them. These are cassettes I've made by taping songs off the radio, coping CDs, singles and albums. So she suggested that I should listen to one a day and comment on them, what songs are on there, any memories that go with those and what I think about the songs. It will also show how my music taste has changed over the years.
So once I've moved and got settled I'll start this project. I think it's a wonderful idea adn I look forward to it, I just hope I find the time to do it.
So there you go my readers, something to look forward.
Spike, I think that's an excellent idea. I hope you don't mind my using it
for my collection. It would be something nice to leave for my son and
grandkids after I'm gone. Music tells a story, but that idea is more than
icing on the cake - it's a treasure! :)
Go for it. It's not like it was my idea in the first place. Let's share
thoughts on music aloud. The feelings they bring, images that are created,
and think of the memories that go with it.
